Our clients wanted a colonial style home that looks like it has always been there, so we spent extra time at the design stage. Every detail was thought through, from the white decking to the timber finials.

This 1900s home in Riwaka needed some care. We took down the back of the house and built a new kitchen, living and dining room. At the front we added a bedroom and a bathroom.
The timber panelled ceiling, stained glass windows, front door, architraves and skirtings all stayed, and solid oak floors tie the old and new parts together. We installed central heating throughout and repainted the outside.
The renovation won a Bronze award in the renovation category of the Registered Master Builders 2022 House of the Year.

Over time every home starts to look a little tired. We gave this cottage a new roof, repaired the cladding where it needed it and gave it a fresh coat of paint.
